Sue Mckinney

Sue McKinney is the Founder and CEO of Altin Biosciences, a biotechnology company developing novel, non-hormonal treatments for uterine fibroids, endometriosis and menopause. Following a career in law and government service, she moved to Vietnam in 1994, where she discovered the potential to translate traditional herbal medicine into scientifically validated pharmaceutical products under the FDA’s Botanical Drug regulations. McKinney’s proprietary non-hormonal formulations were tested on human uterine fibroid cell lines at the University of Chicago, resulting in a Composition of Matter patent. With an FDA-savvy research and commercialization team whose collective experience includes more than 40 FDA-approved drugs, McKinney is advancing Altin’s mission to deliver atransformative, uterus-preserving treatment for millions of women.
