Sandra Butler
Sandra Butler, MPH, is Director of Design Impact at the Springboard Studio within Mass General Brigham, an internal design thinking platform. Through the Springboard Studio, she engages frontline providers and staff - those closest to the challenges - and brings together the people and capabilities needed to design, test, and scale better solutions. She works fluidly across clinical care, research, technology, industry, philanthropy, and the patient and provider experience to turn complex healthcare challenges into opportunities for action.
Sandra works with colleagues across Mass General Brigham to advance women’s health strategy and innovation, connecting expertise across the system to identify opportunities for greater impact. She is the creator of SheSolves, an initiative designed to increase women’s participation in healthcare innovation. Her current work explores how academic health systems can more intentionally connect their strengths—and partner with the broader innovation ecosystem—to improve women’s health at scale.
Her career spans health systems, biopharmaceuticals, healthcare startups, and global health, with experience across nearly 30 countries. Sandra holds an MPH from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University.
