Julia Coleman
Ms. Coleman is an Associate Research Director at Carelon Research. She has managed over 50 projects through their full lifecycle including many large, multi-year initiatives, and has had a contributing role on over 150 projects and proposals for the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and industry partners. Ms. Coleman currently manages the Patient-Centered Research program at Carelon Research, including operations, strategic direction, business development, and team training and mentorship at both the project and program level. She also leads branding, media production, and dissemination for the NHLBI’s Pediatric Heart Network.
Ms. Coleman focuses on incorporating patient-centered insights to make research more meaningful, relevant, and helpful among end-users. She organizes and facilitates convening activities including patient and scientific stakeholder advisory boards, working groups, and consensus conferences. She has led the development and evaluation of innovative technology-driven health education tools including websites, toolkits, trainings, and films, and has produced Continuing Education courses on a range of topics.
