Women with heavy bleeding or pelvic pain often wait five years or more for a diagnosis, and conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis and PMOS have some of the thinnest R&D pipelines in medicine. This session explores why scientific progress in these conditions stalls, and how the Gynecological Discovery & Development Network (GynDDN), an initiative of the Innovation Equity Forum, aims to change that by building a precompetitive, globally representative BioResource of shared data and specimens. It looks at the infrastructure needed for breakthroughs in non-invasive biomarkers, AI tools and personalized medicine, what that means for patients, researchers, industry and funders, and how to get involved.
